Based out of our central location in Lancashire, we specialize in the conversion of sustainable forestry products into BSL accredited wood fuels. This includes wood chip and wood pellets.
Our wood chip products are manufactured here in Lancashire and sourced from the surrounding area. Our main source of material is from unmanaged and windblown sites, most of which are replanted ensuring we are producing a product that is both sustainable and renewable.
We're excited to share the news of the most recent addition to our aboriculture machinery: a Pezzolato 4wd self-propelled chip processor.
This has been procured and purchased with the help of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and its Rural Development Program for England (2014-2020).
The Pezzolato will allow us to reach most sites, and further increase our capacity to produce biomass wood chip for green fuels.
Site
Clearance
With operators who have more than 20 years’ experience in the site clearance industry, we have built a portfolio of work that covers both small and large-scale projects. Our forestry operations utilize cutting edge equipment for the felling, removal and the processing of substantial areas of trees.
We are operating a Pezzolato 4wd self-propelled chip processor - this enables us to get to most sites, therefore cutting down the environmental impact and cost of transporting high volumes of wood and brash products.
We pride ourselves in our recycling ability and endeavour to reprocess 100% of all wood products taken from the sites we clear, turning them into a sustainable renewable product.
Equipment
Hire
We operate a tree shear with limb capacity of up to 450mm fitted to a 25 ton Doosan excavator for the safe and efficient felling and brash removal. This also can be fitted with grapple and forestry rake attachments.
Chipping
We are operating a Pezzolato PTH 1400 wood chipper, with over 700hp it gives us the ability to produce market leading chip with sizing from 15mm to 60mm and with minimum fines. Massive intake feed size of 1400 x 1000, and the ability with 4wd to travel to your site, we believe we have the right machine for your job.
